Funny that, I never had matches here in Toronto, with all these electric owens and microwaves one does not really need to have matches, so we have not. Then there was a New Year, our first New Year here, with all that christmas/New Year stuff, with candles and everything. It did not dawn on me until the very last moment that we had nothing to lit the candles, nothing at all. So we rolled a piece of paper into a dense stick and lit it with incandescent spiral of our electric owen… Smart we are, aren’t we?

у нас было то же самое. только зажечь нечем было сигарету.
электроплита – простой и старый дедовский метод. =)
