I went back home from tennis yesterday when I saw her. It was past after midnight, it was dark and cold. Frost bitted my chicks and stole up to my legs. Cars speeded by leaving only flashes of rear lights. She suddenly came out of a thin air, just like that. She was in her early teens, black hear, black clothes, a scarf, no cap… What she was doing there, what made her leave warm and cozy home? I will never know. She gave me a look and continued walking along the street.
That was the greatest impression of the day.
